The Art of Steven Warner

Steven Warner is an artist who has lived in Iowa City since 1970. He studied art at the School of Art at the University of Iowa, where he earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA). For 30 years, he worked as a Graphics Artist at the University, earning recognition as one of the Best of the Best in ICGS.

In 1977, he ventured into chocolate-making and founded Just Chocolate, supplying chocolate truffles to THINGS AND THINGS AND THINGS in Iowa City and to various locations across the USA, including The Chocolate Truffle. His chocolates were named Best in Boston by Boston Magazine. In 2000,

Steven returned to his passion for drawing and painting using graphite and paint, moving away from computer-generated art. He found success selling his artwork on eBay under the username justdecadent and was published by EOS in 2002. In 2006, he left the University to dedicate more time to creating art.
